2015 Kenmore Arts juried show - A fearless and intelligent fighter, this gentle giant from a forgotten age strives to understand a world filled with people too often focused on the lizard’s own demise and eventual consumption…as an aphrodisiac, for medicinal purposes, for clothing and adornment, for musical instruments, for food and for magic. Ever changing, ever learning, this Monitor Lizard is working with nature to morph into an even more resilient creature…now adorned with his own unique suit of armored spikes for protection! This one of a kind living art has gone through some recent battles and has therefore evolved to new dimensions in quality and value...and weight. This evolution has therefore increased not only his detail, but also his price. A cost assessment was just made and I hope you will agree that he is a beautiful monster...worth every ounce of the cost!!!
